Karen Derrico’s life turned abruptly after she was taken into custody in Las Vegas on June 17—an arrest that has now pulled multiple criminal charges into the spotlight, including allegations tied to her estranged ex-husband and their 14 children.
The TLC alum, 46, was charged with harassment and violating a restraining order—both classified as misdemeanors. Court records also list two felonies: preventing or attempting to prevent a witness from testifying through threat of violence and aggravated stalking. The case moved toward a formal hearing, with her arraignment scheduled for June 23.

The allegations described a family dispute that appears to have spilled beyond the marriage and into the legal process.
A criminal complaint discussed by TMZ on June 24 said Derrico told her ex she would “kill any of the kids” who sided with Deon. The complaint also alleged she threatened to kill him if he showed up to a court hearing related to the restraining order Deon filed against her in April.
Derrico denies the allegations. Court records reviewed during the reporting say she denied the accusations and claimed Deon accessed her accounts and forged emails. Her defense also requested that the court subpoena the IP address to trace where the messages originated.
After the arrest, Derrico was released on $2,000 bail and ordered to wear an ankle monitor. A preliminary hearing has been set for August, keeping the fight—now legally formalized—at the center of the case as both sides prepare for what comes next.
Her lawyer was contacted for comment.

They married in 2005. filed for divorce on June 4. 2024. and finalized the paperwork on June 6. 2024. as described in documents obtained by TMZ.
