Kaia Gerber’s favorite moment from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding might surprise you.
Gerber, 24, opened up about a “really fun” moment en route to the couple’s star-studded nuptials in New York City while promoting her new teen thriller series “The Shards” alongside co-star Graham Campbell.
“I mean, honestly, like driving in the car there with my mom and dad was so fun,” Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, said in a July 29 interview with Extra.
She added: “I literally felt like they were dropping me off at school or something. Like it’s been a while since I’ve been alone in the back seat with like my parents in the front seat and I was like, this is actually really fun. So yeah.”
Gerber and her mom, twinning in sleek black gowns, attended the ultra-private ceremony at Madison Square Garden together on Friday, July 3, according to People. Celebrity makeup artist Jamal Scott even shared a quick snap of the mother-daughter duo’s matching looks.
Gerber’s friendship with the “Love Story” singer can be traced back to 2015, when she starred in the “Bad Blood” music video, making an appearance alongside Swift’s other celebrity besties, including Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez.
The model and actress divulged some additional deets with People at the New York City premiere of “The Shards,” telling the outlet that the big day was “genuinely a love story.”
“It was so fun to go with my mom. So, I had the best time,” Gerber said.
