Josh Hokit targets Michelle Obama after White House UFC win

Josh Hokit’s win over Derrick Lewis at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House was quickly overshadowed by post-fight remarks that escalated into profanity and a direct jab at Michelle Obama, drawing a wave of reaction online.
Josh Hokit didn’t even get far into his victory moment before his post-fight remarks veered into something darker.
After beating Derrick Lewis by second-round TKO in their heavyweight fight at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House, Hokit started with a familiar fight-night cadence — “I’m man with the plan, the beast that’s ready to feast. You know what, (expletive) this speech.’’
He then shouted out Trump for holding the event, and acknowledged his “lord and savior.’’ But the crowd reaction shifted as his comments turned sharper. He told Alex Pereira, “I’m going to chama on your mama,’’ and then added, “And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America?’’
In the aftermath, Joe Rogan — who conducts the in-ring interviews — responded by addressing him: “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.’’
That exchange didn’t stay contained to the arena. Hokit’s remarks about Michelle Obama sparked a wave of reactions across social media.
The fight itself brought its own momentum. Hokit punished Lewis with an onslaught of combinatons that rocked the heavyweight. Lewis survived less than two full reounds, and Hokit improved to 10-0. Despite the record and the finish, Hokit drew boos after the fight.
Those boos had roots beyond the final bell. Before the fight started, Hokit flipped off Derrick Lewis, and Lewis was met with boos as well.
The sequence was stark: the finish came in the second round, the celebration turned into pointed remarks, and the night’s attention widened as quickly as the online reaction.
