  1. I swear every time I hear “Game 5” it’s some random stat about being 37. Like does the NHL just pick one age and keep repeating it lol. Also Vegas can’t finish, right?

  2. Wait so Staal broke his brother Eric’s record from 2006 to 2023… but that’s like 17 years? Unless they mean the record is for “days between goals” or whatever. Kinda sounds made up when they cram all those years together.

  3. This is why hockey is awesome, all those old names like Lemieux and Bossy just floating around like trivia. But I don’t get how they’re saying he’s “among the best in NHL history” from ONE streak in the final. I mean, it’s impressive, sure, but records always get cherry picked. Still, Hurricanes might actually pull this off if Vegas keeps getting stonewalled.
