Jon Stewart Mocks Trump’s Intelligence Claim With Jeopardy Bit

Jon Stewart said a recent Trump boast about “extreme intelligence” would collapse on “Jeopardy!”—and he followed up with a sharply physical joke about what he called the president’s “water pressure.” Stewart also reacted to Trump’s explanation for the insult “
Jon Stewart’s “How is this real?” moment landed not in a courtroom or on Capitol Hill, but in the familiar rhythm of a late-night studio—after a question about whether Donald Trump’s claim of “extreme intelligence” would survive a simple test.
He was asked to imagine Trump playing the iconic game show “Jeopardy!” Stewart didn’t picture careful thinking and timing. He pictured something else.
“If you’re playing ‘Jeopardy!’ you have to wait,” he joked. “I think he would just blurt out answers.” Then Stewart leaned into a theory of his own, making the argument that whatever “intelligence” Trump claims is not built for the kind of pressure the game demands.
“I’ve always felt that for intelligence — so where’s your brain located?. It’s the head. … If you think about it as a New York apartment building, it’s the water tower. And what’s the most important thing in the water tower?. Pressure and the hydraulics of it. And what does Trump have?. Chronic venous insufficiency. He’s got shitty water pressure!”.
Stewart carried the metaphor to its punchline: no water pressure means no performance.
“So what happens? … No water pressure, no good shower, flushes are kind of hard to come by. So, as far as ‘Jeopardy!’ is concerned, this dude’s not getting the water pressure.”
The exchange then turned to Trump’s recent explanation of the insult “Dumocrat.” Trump, Stewart said, claimed that many people don’t know “dumb” has a “b.” Stewart’s reaction was immediate and incredulous.
“How is this real?” he asked.
Stewart’s back-and-forth with his producers—including the question-and-answer about “Jeopardy!” and the reaction to the “Dumocrat” spelling claim—was framed around one core tension: whether the president’s self-described intellectual brand holds up when the rules are straightforward. the timing matters. and mistakes are visible.
Jon Stewart Daily Show Donald Trump Jeopardy Dumocrat extreme intelligence chronic venous insufficiency late night
This is the dumbest “comedy” ever like can we talk about actual policy??
Wait, so he’s saying Trump has “no water pressure” because of like… veins or something? lol I’m lost. But also Jeopardy is easy if you watch it enough I guess? Still feels like a reach.
“Dumocrat” like the b thing?? That sounds like he’s just spelling wrong on purpose. Stewart being like “how is this real” is valid though, because why would anyone not know that. Unless they’re trolling… which Trump probably is.
Not gonna lie, the water tower analogy is kinda gross but it’s catchy. I did not expect a medical reference in a Jeopardy joke though. Also “extreme intelligence” test on TV??? Like what’s next, chess with the Constitution? Stewart always goes too far but this one was actually funny at parts.
