In Monday’s monologue for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!. ” Kimmel called it “all the refinement and prestige as a Hooters at the Vatican.” He followed that line by saying the weekend’s spectacle didn’t “bring people together. ” then added. “Donald Trump’s big violent birthday party. the UFC fight at the White House.”.
As Kimmel’s studio audience booed, he leaned into the moment with heavy sarcasm. “I know. I know. That was my reaction when I heard about it, but when I watched it, so much elegance, so much sophistication, so much class.”
Kimmel then described how the event made it feel—like Trump had “turned the White House into a Waffle House.” He said the celebration involved “More than 4,000 people trampled the White House grass to celebrate the Orange One turning 80.”
The host pushed further on the scale and spending of the night. saying. “Historians are saying this is the first time in history an American president spent $60 million to publicly fellate himself.” He then praised the president while undercutting the premise: “So. congratulations to him.” Kimmel also said Trump “knocked down the east wing of the White House and wants a billion dollars because he needs to have a safe place to throw parties. ” adding that Trump “has no problem throwing a giant 80th birthday cage match on the front lawn of the White House.”.

The $60 million thing is probably exaggerated but I’m not even shocked. Trump throwing a “fight party” on the White House lawn like it’s some roadside show… also the east wing knocked down?? i don’t know if that’s literal or just Kimmel being dramatic but either way it’s gonna stir up drama for sure.
