Jimmy Fallon Jokes About Trump Rides at Fair

On Thursday night’s monologue, Jimmy Fallon teased the Great American State Fair’s Trump-themed attractions, from a “Trump approval rating rollercoaster” to a ride tied to the president’s doctor—and kept going with jokes about a senator calling Trump “brother.
The Great American State Fair kicked off on Thursday, and Jimmy Fallon wasted no time turning the opening night into a spotlight for one thing: rides and attractions built around President Trump.
Starting his monologue Thursday night, the NBC host leaned into the basics first—calling it a fair that “has everything,” including classic staples like a Ferris Wheel and a carousel. Then he pivoted to what he described as the newer, Trump-themed additions.
“They even have a Trump approval rating rollercoaster, which has the biggest drop in history,” Fallon quipped. “It’s amazing.”

He added that the fair also featured what he called a weight-guessing attraction: “And this is fun. they also hired Trump’s doctor to guess what you want your weight to be. ” he joked. Fallon tied it to the ongoing public debate around Trump’s weight. including the criticism that he “is lying about it” when he lists himself with the dimensions of an NFL quarterback. Fallon kept the momentum going. saying. “If that’s not all. they even have a petting zoo with some of the animals Trump named during his last cognitive test. ” before slipping into an impression of the president: “‘Horse. duck. stripey horse!’”.
Later in the monologue. Fallon shifted from fair rides to a political moment reportedly tied to a meeting with Republican lawmakers this week. He joked about claims that Senator Bill Cassidy called the president “brother” as a way to calm him down—and said he had “revealed” to the audience that they actually had audio of the exchange.
In Fallon’s setup. a fake Trump treats Cassidy’s “brother” comment as a serious claim. with Fallon’s version of Trump insisting Cassidy is revealing they are legitimately brothers. Fallon then had the president suggest brotherly activities in the style of “Mario and Luigi,” the “Kelce brothers,” and more.
