On Sunday. June 14. the 38-year-old singer and entrepreneur posted a video on Instagram that documents the work behind her postpartum fitness transformation—raw. everyday. and built around real-life moments with her kids. The clips show her lifting weights while children are nearby and pushing a stroller uphill.

In the caption, she wrote, “This video is as raw and real as it gets. I’ve been anxious to share but here it goes,” setting the tone for why she chose to go public now.

Decker welcomed her youngest child. son Denver Calloway. in February 2024. and said the transformation comes after what she described as repeated struggles with weight during pregnancy. She and her husband, Eric Decker, share Vivianne, 12; Eric Jr., 10; Forrest, 8; and Denver, 2. Before pregnancy. she said she was “a naturally petite fit could eat whatever I wanted and stay in shape kinda girl. ” but pregnancy changed that.

She shared that she gained “over 55 pounds almost every single time” while pregnant, and she emphasized that the weight “didn’t magically fall off afterward.”

Decker didn’t hold back about the emotional side of that process either. She wrote, “I know what it’s like to look in the mirror and not recognize yourself. I know what it’s like to feel uncomfortable in your clothes. ” adding that she understands what it means to put in effort day after day while wondering if it will ever click. “I know what it’s like to put in the work day after day. wonder if it’s ever going to happen. and feel completely defeated. I’ve had to do it four different times over a decade.”.

Still, her message wasn’t only about frustration—it was about persistence. She continued. “I believe if you want something badly enough. you have to be willing to work for it.” Feeling strong. energized. and confident. she wrote. matters deeply to her. She also said fitness has been part of her life. but it took her a long time to find what she truly enjoyed and what kept her showing up consistently.

Decker made one thing clear as well: she’s not positioning herself as a fitness expert. “I’m just a mom of four who loves feeling strong,” she wrote.

The post also doubled as the official launch of her JJD FIT Club. Decker said the idea was inspired by an old “Get Fit” group text with her mom, sister, and best friend Jessica—an origin story rooted in friendship, accountability, and starting where you are.

After their fourth child, Decker noted, her husband Eric got a vasectomy.
