On the Monday, June 29, episode of the “Thanks Dad” with Ego Nwodim podcast, the 52-year-old actor said Rebecca Romijn “sometimes smells ‘funky.’” He described her habit of rubbing crystals under her arms, then delivered the punchline: “it doesn’t work.”
“Well, I have to tell you, my wife, Rebecca Romijn, rubs crystals under her arms,” O’Connell said. “And I’m here to tell everyone, it doesn’t work. The crystals under the arms doesn’t work.”
He then clarified that the odor doesn’t bother him. “Now I don’t mind the way my wife — it doesn’t offend me,” he continued. “I actually. ah — this is gonna get a little dirty — I kind of like it when I can smell my wife’s body odor. Okay but why is he talking about her deodorant like it’s a product review. Also “I kind of like it”?? Sir this is a marriage not a scent experiment. Didn’t John Stamos get divorced years ago too so now it’s just all messy podcast content.
