Jeremy Allen White didn’t just finish shooting The Bear’s final season—he packed up a piece of it.

On the Tuesday, June 2 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Emmy winner, 35, said he walked away with “many” souvenirs from the set of the hit Hulu dramedy, which wrapped production on its fifth and final season in early March. Season 5 premieres June 25 on Hulu.

But the most memorable item, White said, wasn’t small or symbolic in the typical way. It was a butcher’s block table that’s been part of the show’s furniture since season 1. White explained that the prop sat “in the corner of The Beef. ” the restaurant viewers first saw when the series started as a sandwich shop.

As The Bear evolved—moving from the earlier setup toward the fine dining restaurant that his character. Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto. establishes—the table stayed put. White called it the “only thing that really remained during the evolution of The Beef into The Bear. ” adding: “It remained in the same corner. It was the only thing from the old world that came into our new world.” Then he didn’t hesitate: “And I stole that.”.

White said he had the prop shipped out, noting, “It weighs about 400 pounds.” For now, he says it’s in his driveway under a tarp, and he’s been careful about where it ends up: “I just know that wherever it lands, it’s going to stay there, so I’m just being very careful about where I put it.”

His admission lands with extra weight because The Bear’s success has been inseparable from its details. When the first season premiered in 2022, it arrived with immediate impact—winning 10 Emmy awards. Those included Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor for White, and supporting actor nominations for Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

White’s Emmy momentum continued: he repeated his win in 2024. Still. he narrowly missed out on Outstanding Lead Actor for season 3 in 2025. a year when the honor went to The Studio actor Seth Rogen. The Bear’s fourth season. meanwhile. is eligible for this year’s Emmys. while the final season will be eligible in 2027.

Away from the awards track, the cast has also been confronting the idea that time is running out. In an interview with Us Weekly in September 2025. White’s costar Abby Elliott said. “I don’t want it to end. I love everybody. I love this family, the characters and also the real-life actors. We’re now very close. I could see endless stories.” Elliott continued that the show could continue and that there would still be “endless stories” to explore—saying. “The show could go on if that was ahead of us. We all have fallen in love with the characters and want to see what they do and want to see how they continue living and how the restaurant continues.”.

In May, Hulu confirmed the fifth season would be the show’s last, and all episodes will be available to stream on June 25.
