Jennifer Lopez Keeps It Flirty With Brett Goldstein

After Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein packed the red carpet with eye contact and laughter for Office Romance, rumors of a real-life romance spread fast. But a new report says Lopez is single—enjoying her life, her work, and her family—while she teases that
For a couple of minutes on Tuesday night, it looked like the premiere of Jennifer Lopez’s new romantic comedy Office Romance might turn into something more personal.
At The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, the 56-year-old actress stepped out for the film’s premiere and got plenty cozy with her on-screen love interest, Brett Goldstein. They stared into each other’s eyes, smiled, laughed, and flirted during their red-carpet moment—photos captured it all.
The chemistry was loud enough to spark quick speculation. Rumors have since been going around that Lopez and Goldstein are dating.
But a report shared on Friday shuts down the storyline at least for now. Lopez is single, and there isn’t anything going on between her and Goldstein at this time.
A source told People that Lopez “had a great time filming” Office Romance with Goldstein, and that she’s “excited for people to see the movie.” The insider also said the flirty energy is real in the way it matters for fans: “her flirty energy with Brett is genuine,” and “she really likes him.”
Still, Lopez’s romantic status is clear. The source said she “in a great place on her own right now” and “doesn’t need a relationship to feel happy.” The pop star is “enjoying her life as it is,” with work, family, and the people closest to her taking center stage—“with no man by her side.”
The contrast is noticeable when you remember what’s already been in public view. Lopez’s recent split from Alex Rodriguez has been followed by reports that he reached out to her afterward, hoping for a second chance.
Even with the single-girl clarity from the new report, hope for romance isn’t completely off the table. Earlier this week, Lopez told Jimmy Fallon that she isn’t giving up on love yet. “I’ll meet somebody somewhere one day if they’re good enough.”
Goldstein, meanwhile, has made his admiration pretty hard to miss. During an episode of his podcast, Films To Be Buried With, the actor gushed about Lopez and her movie Hustlers. He praised her on “every level. ” then got specific about a moment involving a scene on the roof where Lopez. wearing a big fur coat. cuddles “the girl. the new girl. ” and he said it left him thinking. “I’d never wanted to be cuddled more.”.
So after the red-carpet flirting. the movie buzz. and the rush of dating rumors. the picture that emerges is less about a confirmed romance—and more about two co-stars who clearly enjoy each other. For now, Lopez is focused on life, work, and family. But she’s also still leaving the door open for love when the right person shows up.
