IPL 2026 Playoffs tickets go live from May 20

The BCCI has announced the ticket sale schedule for the TATA IPL 2026 Playoffs. RuPay credit cardholders get a 24-hour priority window starting May 20, with Qualifier 1 and Eliminator opening for non-exclusive sale on May 21 and Qualifier 2 and the Final openi

When the playoff race reaches its most unforgiving stage, fans won’t have to wait long for the next chance to get in.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the ticket sale schedule for the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 Playoffs. For the playoff phase, the BCCI has appointed District by Zomato as the Official Ticketing Agency.

RuPay Credit Cardholders will receive an exclusive 24-hour priority access window beginning May 20, 2026. That first priority window will be used to secure tickets for two matches:

Qualifier 1 — May 26, 2026 at HPCA Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala
Eliminator — May 27, 2026 at New PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh

For the next set of matches, the RuPay priority window starts later. Beginning May 22, 2026, RuPay Credit Cardholders get priority access for:

Qualifier 2 — May 29, 2026 at New PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh
Final — May 31, 2026 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad

After the priority windows, non-exclusive sales are scheduled in two waves. The Phase 1 ticket sales for Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will commence on May 21, 2026. The Phase 1 ticket sales for Qualifier 2 and the Final will commence on May 23, 2026.

The timings laid out by the BCCI are equally specific. On May 20. Qualifier 1 & Eliminator are exclusive for RuPay Credit Cardholders. with sales marked for 7:00 PM and held for Dharamshala and New Chandigarh. On May 21, Qualifier 1 & Eliminator shift to a non-exclusive sale at 8:00 PM for Dharamshala and New Chandigarh.

Then, on May 22, the RuPay exclusive window for Qualifier 2 and the Final is listed at 7:00 PM, covering New Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. On May 23, Qualifier 2 and the Final move into non-exclusive sale at 8:00 PM, again for New Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.

Tickets can be purchased via the official IPL website at https://www.iplt20.com and through the District by Zomato platform.

  1. May 20 at 7pm for Dharamshala or whatever. I don’t even know how to buy these tickets half the time, the site crashes every year.

  2. Wait, it says Qualifier 1 and Eliminator exclusive May 20, but then non-exclusive May 21. So does that mean RuPay holders get double the chances?? That’s what my cousin said anyway.

  3. District by Zomato is the official thing now? Honestly Zomato sounds like food delivery not tickets lol. Also they wrote “Final openi” which is probably a typo but it makes me think the schedule is messy too. If the website is slow on May 21 at 8pm I’m blaming BCCI.
