That magic is getting its own spotlight at “Pass the Remote,” an event IndieWire and Disney are hosting on Monday, June 8. The panel is set for Vidiots Foundation in Eagle Rock and is built around five casting directors in conversation with IndieWire’s Jim Hemphill.
The lineup brings major credits into the same room. Wendy O’Brien. a casting director for “Abbott Elementary. ” will join Nicole Daniels. known for “Love Story.” Tiffany Little Canfield. who has casting credits spanning “Only Murders in the Building” and “Paradise. ” is also scheduled to participate. along with Sharon Bialy. casting director for “The Testaments.” Carmen Cuba rounds out the panel as casting director for “Wonder Man.”.
Doors open at 6pm, with the conversation beginning at 7pm. After the discussion, a beer and wine reception will follow.
