Hudson demands CBS release transcript after Belichick row

Jordon Hudson reignited her feud with CBS by demanding the network release the unedited transcript and footage of Bill Belichick’s interview on “CBS News Sunday Morning,” after Belichick accused CBS of deceptive editing.

Jordon Hudson posted a blunt ultimatum to CBS after Bill Belichick’s “car-crash” interview left fans watching a moment she says CBS handled unfairly.

Hudson. 25. challenged the network to “release the unedited transcript” and “unedited footage. ” adding: “Holding you to it.” Her comments landed as a new round of scrutiny returned to the fallout from Belichick’s appearance on “CBS News Sunday Morning. ” which originally aired in April 2025 around the release of his book. “The Art of Winning – Lessons from My Life in Football.”.

That interview went viral when Hudson interjected during the questioning. shutting down a line of inquiry about how she met the 74-year-old coach. The clip revived questions about how much control Hudson has over what CBS chose to show. and whether the network’s editing shaped what audiences thought happened.

Earlier this week, the UNC coach accused CBS of “deceptively” editing the interview. Hudson echoed that claim on social media, telling CBS to publish the full materials rather than the edited version viewers saw.

Her post was timed alongside CBS anchor Tony Dokoupil’s remarks about “changes” to the network’s news operation after a turbulent few years. Dokoupil, who interviewed Belichick last year, said: “People do not trust us like they used to.”

The wider CBS tensions behind the dispute have been building for months. Late last year. new CBS chief Bari Weiss reportedly pulled a segment of “60 Minutes” focused on allegations of abuse at a detention center in El Salvador tied to Donald Trump’s administration. where hundreds of migrants had been sent. The president also clashed with CBS’ Norah O’Donnell more recently. and last year Paramount—CBS’ parent company—agreed to pay $16 million to settle a lawsuit by Trump over the editing of an interview with Kamala Harris.

Against that backdrop. Belichick appeared on Fox News’ podcast “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” earlier this week and said he “couldn’t believe” the treatment he received from CBS. Hannity responded by pointing to what he described as a pattern of editing problems. adding that they go back “over a couple of years.”.

Belichick said he thought his CBS interview was handled “very deceptively.” He said he had asked CBS for the transcript and was refused. explaining: “I’ve asked for the transcript from them. and they won’t give it to me. They’ve done that with others.” He added, “I’m not really sure what that policy is.”.

Belichick finished by questioning what CBS claims about trust, saying he was “kind of confused about some of the things that they [CBS] say they are” and that he “don’t really see them living up to the trust that they talk about.”

Hudson’s demand for the unedited transcript and footage keeps the confrontation focused on the same core issue: not just what was said in the interview, but what CBS chose to show afterward—and what it would or wouldn’t provide once questioned.
