Here’s what we know about Pittsburgh’s autumn weather, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania fall temperature prediction for September, October, November

The NOAA recently released its three-month weather outlook for September, October and November, which shows the likelihood of temperatures being above or below the seasonal average throughout the country.

According to NOAA, nearly all of Pennsylvania except a tiny southwest corner will have a 33-40% chance of seeing above-normal fall temperatures, with Pittsburgh right on the edge of having equal chances of normal temps.

The average temperature in Pittsburgh from September to November trypically ranges from 52–58 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the National Centers for Environmental Information.

Pittsburgh is likely to experience typical rainfall this fall as NOAA predicts equal chances of normal precipitation for the Steel City and much of the Northeast and Midwest.

However, NOAA shows the northern most strip of Pennsylvania with a 33-40% chance of seeing less precipitation than usual this fall.
