Holly Madison didn’t soften it when she talked about Kendra Wilkinson.
On the Thursday. June 18 episode of E!’s “Hot Goss” YouTube show. Madison. 46. confirmed she is still not in touch with her former “Girls Next Door” co-star. 41-year-old Wilkinson. “Kendra and I don’t speak, but I’m not opposed to speaking,” Madison said. She pointed to a break that happened after the show—“a falling out… after the show”—connected to “our spinoffs and working with the same producer.”.
Madison believes the unnamed producer “tried to pit us against each other and got in our heads, so that’s a shame.” She also addressed Wilkinson’s more direct version of their history, after Wilkinson claimed she was never friends with Madison.
“At the time, she was really caught up in the tabloid cycle,” Madison said. “If her thing to get in the tabloids that week was a rift with someone. then she was going to say it.” Madison added that when tabloid momentum started pushing their story. it didn’t match what she believed was happening in their real relationship. “If somebody wrote a clickbait headline. she was going to retweet it and I’m sitting here like. ‘Wait. I just sent your son a Christmas gift.’”.
Nearly 16 years after “Girls Next Door” concluded. Madison said she understands more now about why Wilkinson may have acted that way. “I think she was just really caught up and we were never as close obviously as me and Bridget [Marquardt]. ” Madison explained. She noted that she and Wilkinson “don’t have much in common. ” but maintained. “we shared a lot of experiences and had a lot of good times together. so I never thought of her as not a friend.”.
Madison. Wilkinson. and Bridget Marquardt. 52. starred together on “The Girls Next Door. ” a reality series centered on their lives in the Playboy mansion while each dated Hugh Hefner at the same time. The show’s success led Madison and Wilkinson to get their own spinoff series—Holly’s World and Kendra, respectively.
Since then, Wilkinson has stepped away from reality TV to focus on her career as a real estate agent. Madison, meanwhile, remains a cohost of the “Girls Next Level” podcast with Marquardt.
Madison also made clear that her bond with Marquardt has lasted well beyond the show. “Bridget and I have always been super close. We’re still super close. We do a rewatch podcast together,” Madison told “Hot Goss” hosts Eyal Booker and Lonnie Marts IIV. She added that they’ve “never even had a fight or anything in our 25 years of friendship.”.
In a previous interview. Madison said she hadn’t really considered clearing the air with Wilkinson “until recently.” “I don’t know if she would reach out because she really seems to be happy not having anything to do with anything from the past. ” Madison explained. “I think that’s great. But I would not continue to hold a grudge at this point.”.

Wait so the producer made them fall out? That sounds like every reality show ever. Also Kendra didn’t “soften it”?? maybe Holly is just mad because Kendra looks better in interviews.
I don’t even know what spinoffs they mean, but if they worked with the same producer then yeah, producers always pit people against each other. The Christmas gift part is kinda wild like why does that even matter?? but also tabloid headlines probably mess with families too.
This is so messy, because I swear I saw somewhere that Kendra said they weren’t friends from day one? So Holly’s like “she was caught up in the tabloid cycle” but what does that even mean, like tabloids made her stop being friendly? Also same producer thing… are they talking about the actual channel producer or like some random guy. Either way, it’s all still on E! so they’re both kinda feeding it.
