GTA 6 DualSense pre-orders LIVE — limited-edition PS5 controller is selling out in the UK, with US drop starting soon
White model back in stock at PS Direct!
It looks like fresh stock is appearing across UK retailers. PS Direct is taking pre-orders of the White mode after previously listing it as “unavailable”. It’s also the only place to get the Black version, so take your pick:
Currys is currently ‘out of stock’!
While other retailers, like Argos and Smyths Toys have restocked, Currys is now saying “out of stock.” The retailer held strong for several hours, but at least for now, it’s allocation has run dry. I’ll keep watching for restocks, but fear not, if you haven’t locked in a pre-order yet, you’ve got plenty of options.
Argos has also restocked the GTA 6 DualSense!
Looks like several UK retailers are again taking pre-orders after initially appearing to sell out, add Argos to the list, the controller is once again available to order for delivery at the retailer.
Restock over at Smyths Toys!
Earlier this morning, Smyths Toys appeared to sell out the GTA 6 DualSense, but seemingly the retailer found some more stock, because the “delivery” button has turned green, and you can now pre-order it again. Be quick!
PS Direct sells out of GTA 6 DualSense, but it’s not the one I expected!
Looks like PS Direct’s stock is reaching its limit. I’m now getting a “currently unavailable” message on the GTA 6 DualSense controller, but surprisingly, it’s on the White model.
The Black one is exclusive to PS Direct, so I expect it to be the first to sell out, but it would appear the White model is the more popular of the two. For now, you can still grab the GTA 6 DualSense in Black on PS Direct, but it might only be a matter of minutes before it also sells out.
Meanwhile, if you want the controller in white, I’m still able to add it to my cart on Currys. But again, this stock may not stick around much longer.
Did the GTA 6 DualSense just disappear on PS Direct?
The situation has taken a mysterious turn. I just refreshed PlayStation Direct to do my latest stock level check, and the GTA 6 DualSense controllers appear to have disappeared from the retailer’s DualSense page. The only limited edition pads I’m seeing now are the two Wolverine controllers.
Could this be a sign of a sell-out, or is PlayStation Direct being crushed with so many people trying to buy that the site can’t handle the load? Fortunately, the direct links to the listing pages below are still working, but it does appear that PS Direct is becoming a little unstable as shoppers try to check out.
Another retailer sold out in the UK
It appears that stock is starting to stumble in the UK, I’ve done my latest stock check, and it looks like Argos has now sold out. You can still add the controller to your cart, but there is no option for either collection or delivery. I’m still able to see stock at Currys and PS Direct, but don’t expect this to stick around for long. If you want a GTA 6 DualSense, now is the time to pre-order!
Stock is holding at PS Direct!
If you’re in the virtual queue right now, keep waiting. I can confirm that stock is holding for now, even on the exclusive Black edition. I’m able to add both to my cart and reach the final stages of checkout. Let’s hope stock sticks around!

I’m still waiting in the PS Direct queue, and will update you once I reach the front. In the meantime, I’ve been checking stock across the other UK retailers taking pre-orders for the GTA 6 DualSense, and it looks like Very and Smyths Toys have sold out. We knew this controller would be popular. I’m still able to add to my cart on Currys and Argos, but who knows how long these will hold.
If you want the White model, don’t wait in the queue!
Hello to anybody just joining us now that 10 a.m. BST has arrived. PlayStation Direct is now taking pre-orders but there’s a long virtual queue in place. This retailer is the exclusive place to score the GTA 6 DualSense in Black, so if that’s the one you’re after, there’s nothing to do but wait and hope it stays in stock.
However, if you want the white model, skip the queue, and go pre-order it right now at the other U.K. retailers that currently have it in stock already.
It could be a long wait…
PS Direct is open for pre-orders, but it’s going to take a little while to get on the site. My current estimated wait time is 42 minutes, but I’m hoping that’ll prove to be an over estimation. Remember, the GTA 6 DualSense in Black appears to be exclusive to PlayStation Direct, so join the queue now if that’s the model you’re looking to score today!

One retailer that is sticking to the 10 a.m. BST drop (at least, it appears that way) is PlayStation Direct. This might be the exclusive place to get the GTA 6 DualSense in Black, so now’s a good time to head over to the site and get ready if you want to pre-order directly from PlayStation.

Amazon U.K.’s listing page is live, but no pre-orders yet!
Looks like Amazon U.K. will be getting in on the pre-order action at some point. The GTA 6 DualSense now has a listing page on the online mega-retailer, but Amazon pre-orders aren’t live yet. This is one to watch closely if it’s your preferred shopping destination.
The Black model is MIA in the UK (so far)
If you want to pre-order the GTA 6 DualSense in White, you’ve got plenty of options in the U.K. right now (see links below). However, so far, I’ve not spotted any retailers that is offering the Black version.
Perhaps this one will be exclusive to PlayStation Direct? That is a strategy PlayStation has used before during limited-edition pre-order drops. PlayStation likes to keep at least one item exclusive to its own online storefront (it did similar during the Wolverine PS5 range pre-order drop).
