Govee smart – Prime Day has pushed several Govee color-changing smart lamps to their lowest prices ever, including Table Lamp 2 at $53.99 and Floor Lamp Basic at $59.99. The lineup keeps the same core features—millions of colors, preset scenes, music sync, and app control—w
Prime Day shoppers who want smart lighting without the Philips Hue price tag have a clear target: Govee’s color-changing lamps are now discounted to what the company’s sale listing frames as their lowest prices ever.
Several models are marked down. Table Lamp 2 is $53.99, down from $79.99. Floor Lamp Basic is $59.99, regularly $99.99. The portable Table Lamp Classic drops to $55.99 from $79.99. And Uplighter Floor Lamp is $125.99, down from $179.99.
The pitch here is simple: you’re paying less, but you’re not giving up the core Govee experience. Each lamp supports millions of colors and adjustable white light. They come with preset scenes. can sync lighting to music. and let you build custom scenes. schedules. and automations in the Govee app. If you prefer hands-free control, they can also be managed with voice using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
There’s one practical compatibility note tied to these discounts. With the exception of Floor Lamp Basic, the lamps support Matter, meaning they can work with other major smart home platforms too.
The biggest choice comes down to where the lamp will live. Table Lamp 2 is the small option—suited to a nightstand or desk. The portable Table Lamp Classic is made for movement, trading a power cord for a rechargeable battery. That makes it easier to move from room to room or take outside to a patio. The catch: it isn’t weather-resistant, so it shouldn’t be taken out when it’s raining.
For larger rooms, Govee offers Floor Lamp Basic and Uplighter Floor Lamp. Floor Lamp Basic is the smaller and slimmer of the two, designed for a more minimalist look. Uplighter is taller and aimed at bigger visual impact. with three independently controllable lighting zones that can project different colors onto walls and the ceiling at the same time.
If you’re trying to match one lamp to your space. the differences are clear enough: desk and bedside mood lighting with Table Lamp 2. a battery-powered option with the portable Table Lamp Classic. and room-scaling brightness with Floor Lamp Basic or the more cinematic three-zone effects from Uplighter.

Philips Hue is overrated anyway, Govee always been better for the price.
Wait so Floor Lamp Basic doesn’t do Matter? That seems backwards like why would one model not work with everything. I just bought smart stuff last week too. Prime Day got me mad lol.
I saw this and thought it was the same as those RGB bulbs that flicker. Also “music sync” sounds like it would be laggy? But $53 for a whole lamp is kinda insane. Not sure if it’ll actually match the colors on my TV though.
The rechargeable one sounds cool but “not weather-resistant” like… so none of these are for outside? Then why sell a “portable” lamp. Also if it works with Alexa and Google then why do people keep saying you need a hub. I’m confused, but $125.99 for the uplighter is tempting even if it’s gonna be a whole setup.
