On Holly Ramsay’s Instagram, the countdown isn’t subtle: “Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026.” For Gordon Ramsay, it’s the kind of news that turns even a hard-driving TV chef into something softer—his wife, Tana, by his side, while the Ramsay household keeps expanding.

Ramsay may be the one who commands attention in the kitchen. but at home he’s an eight-boss operation—now soon to be even more. The Hell’s Kitchen host and Tana Ramsay have built one of Hollywood’s most recognizable families over nearly three decades of marriage. spanning cooking shows and competitions across the country.

They share six children: Megan; twins Holly and Jack; Matilda “Tilly”; Oscar; and Jesse.

The story of how they got here has been marked by joy, growth—and loss.

Gordon and Tana met in the early 1990s before marrying in December 1996. Tana, a cookbook author, has remained a steady presence beside her famous husband, raising their kids largely out of the spotlight while building her own brand.

In June 2016, their family was hit by heartbreak when Tana suffered a miscarriage. Gordon wrote on Facebook at the time: “Hi guys. Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks. ” adding. “We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months. He’s always been one to talk about everything. and he was very good at sort of talking it out of me and never making me feel that. ‘Oh. you know. maybe we shouldn’t talk about it.’”.

Their next chapters came with new names—and new arrivals. In 1998, Gordon and Tana became parents with the birth of daughter Megan. They expanded soon after with twins Holly and Jack, along with younger daughter Matilda, known as “Tilly.”

In January 2019, the Ramsays announced they were expecting their fifth child. Son Oscar arrived later that year, described as a “rainbow baby” after a previous pregnancy loss.
