Good Morning America heads to Jackson for live Friday

Jackson, Wyoming will be featured on “Good Morning America” live Friday morning as part of the show’s “50 States in 50 Weeks: America the Beautiful” series ahead of the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding.

JACKSON, Wyo. — Friday morning in Jackson won’t just feel local. It will be built for a national audience.

“Good Morning America” is set to air live from Jackson early Friday, bringing Wyoming into the show’s “50 States in 50 Weeks: America the Beautiful” segment. The segment is part of the countdown leading up to the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding.

Filming is closed to the public, so the people who usually gather for moments like this won’t be able to watch the production in person. But the live broadcast is scheduled for viewers to tune in from 7 to 9 a.m. on Friday morning.

On the set, ABC News’ Becky Worley will be interviewing a local business owner and artisan chosen to reflect Wyoming’s culture, history, and traditions. After that conversation, the show will shift to the landscape, featuring a segment about Worley touring Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks.

The timing matters: this Jackson episode comes during a nationwide run meant to spotlight each state one by one. For Wyoming, the spotlight lands early Friday and then moves quickly into the parks that define the state’s outdoor identity.
