Gameday: Texas A&M vs Arizona State

The 10th ranked Texas A&M Aggies hosts Arizona State Saturday at 11 a.m. on ABC. In honor of America’s 250th Celebration and the 25th anniversary of September 11, Texas A&M and Kyle Field will trade their primary Maroon and White for the colors of America as the ‘Red, White and Blue’ game makes its return for the first time since 2021. In a unique twist to ‘striping a stadium’, each level of Kyle Field is asked to wear either Red (3rd Deck), White (2nd Deck) or Blue (1st Deck) to help honor those who have served our country, remember those we lost on September 11 and celebrate the spirit of service and leadership that defines America.
Texas A&M and Arizona State will meet for just the second time on Saturday, the first time playing on the campus of either school. The two programs first met on Sept. 5, 2015, at NRG Stadium in Houston. The Aggies earned the victory, upsetting the 15th-ranked Sun Devils, 38-17.
Arizona State will be the first Big 12 opponent to play at Kyle Field since the Aggies’ final season in the Big 12 in 2011. At that time, the Sun Devils were still part of the Pac-12 … Since joining the SEC, The Aggies are 3-2 against Big 12 opponents with all five contests coming in a bowl game.
