Enhanced Games, Fred Kerley, 100 metres, 9.97 seconds, Paris Olympics, 9.81, bronze
9.97 is still pretty fast, idk why everyone acting like it’s bad.
So he won but it “would’ve been last” at the Olympics?? That seems kinda rigged to me. Like why call it Enhanced if the times are worse.
I don’t really get it—9.97 should be good, right? They said he ran 9.81 in Paris two years ago and won bronze, but then 9.97 is last? Maybe the Enhanced Games track is cursed or something. Or is it wind or like “enhanced” just means smaller crowds?
Honestly I’m confused, I saw the headline and thought he got disqualified or something lol. Enhanced Games, Paris Olympics, bronze… all I know is 9.97 sounds like a 100m that should’ve won more than “last place.” Sports media always makes it sound dramatic.
