The hosts of Fox News’ “The Big Weekend Show” are apparently still not over rapper Jelly Roll’s week of guest-hosting “Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!” and the numerous jokes he made at President Donald Trump’s expense.
Devoting an entire segment to discussing the rapper on Saturday, the hosts focused specifically on a joke Jelly Roll made on Monday concerning Trump’s body-shaming remarks.
“We shouldn’t be making fun of the president for his weight because we know that he would never do that to other people,” the rapper said before playing a montage of Trump’s body-shaming.
“Well, if that ain’t the pot calling the kettle fat.” Jelly Roll added.
“I liked him better when he was fat,” Tomi Lahren said. “I liked him better; I thought he was nicer.”
Guest Marc Siegel chimed in saying that fat-shaming is okay if you’re a Democrat.
“And also the president could beat him (Jelly Roll) in golf I don’t care what weight he is, any day of the week I mean the president is out there on the golf course he is exercising, sure he could lose a few pounds but that’s not funny,” Siegel said.
“I like the fatter, funnier Jelly Roll,” Siegel added.
Jelly Roll, who has struggled with his weight in the past, opened up about his weight-loss journey during Monday’s show, and suggested Trump could also lose a few pounds.
“Well, Mr. President, from one fat pig to another, take it from me, that physical fitness is very important,” he said. “And trust me, you’ll be happy to see your penis again.”
The jokes clearly did not amuse conservatives, as they spent much of the week bashing the rapper, with one Florida congressman even claiming he is banning Jelly Roll from his district.
Jelly Roll had been assumed by many to be a supporter of Trump, partially due to a meeting with the then-president-elect at a UFC fight in November 2024.
The rapper said during Thursday’s show that his political views fall more in the middle than anything.
