The 2026 FIFA World Cup is already rolling hard, and Tuesday, June 16 is packed—four matches spread across the afternoon and prime time, with big-name teams and international pairings stepping onto the pitch.

The tournament officially kicked off last week on June 11, bringing 48 teams into the race for No. 1 in the world. Now, the focus shifts to today’s schedule.

Tuesday, June 16

France vs. Senegal (Group I) kicks off at 3 p.m. ET on Fox and Telemundo.

Iraq vs. Norway (Group I) follows at 6 p.m. ET, also on Fox and Telemundo.

Argentina vs. Algeria (Group J) closes out the day at 9 p.m. ET on Fox and Telemundo.

How to watch the World Cup today for free

Fans can watch the World Cup on Fox and FS1, with Spanish-language broadcasts available on Telemundo and Universo.

If streaming is your route, the tournament is available on Fox ONE, which currently offers a three-day trial. Free trials are also available through services like YouTube, Fubo, and DirecTV. Sling TV includes access to Fox and FS1 in select markets, but it does not currently offer a free trial.

For Spanish-language coverage, Peacock will stream all 104 matches live. Telemundo will air 92 matches, with the remaining 12 airing on Universo.

The bigger picture: this year’s World Cup is being played across 16 stadiums in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

  2. If it says free on YouTube, does that mean you can literally watch every match with no cable? Cuz I tried one free trial before and it still billed me $10, so idk.

  3. Argentina vs Algeria at 9pm is gonna be wild but I’m confused… Algeria isn’t in a Group J in real life right? Anyway I’m just gonna stream it on Peacock because it says all matches and I trust that.
