Florida Georgia Line Reunites After Four-Year Duo Break

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard surprised fans as Florida Georgia Line at the 2026 CMA Fest on June 4, their first duo performance together in four years since they split indefinitely in 2022.

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard didn’t just walk onstage at the 2026 CMA Fest—they found a way to make fans feel the moment before the spotlight even hit.

On Thursday night. June 4. the pair reunited as Florida Georgia Line at Nissan Stadium for their first performance together as a duo in four years. after they split up indefinitely back in 2022. Fans watched the reunion unfold as they were introduced by boxing announcer Michael Buffer. then surprised with a different kind of entrance: the two singers walked through the crowd separately and sang “Round Here” before coming together on stage.

Once they regrouped, the performance stayed true to the memories they built together. They delivered “Cruise,” the hit that helped define their run as a duo.

On the FGL Instagram account, a caption set the tone for how the moment was meant to land. “We’ll never forget this night and this moment… We back baby!” the post wrote, paired with a video from the night.

When Tyler took the stage, he framed the reunion in simple, personal language. “CMA Fest, it feels so good to be here with my brother,” he told the crowd. He then added three reminders—one spiritual, one philosophical, one purely team-wide: “First of all, God is good. Second of all, life is short. And most importantly, your boys….we back, baby!”.

The reunion comes more than four years after Florida Georgia Line first announced in February 2022 that they would be taking an indefinite break as a duo. During that time, both Kelley and Hubbard focused on solo work, releasing their own music individually.

Back in 2024, Brian opened up about the decision to take a break for a while, and now the question fans had been holding in the background—whether they’d ever truly return together—sounded answered at Nissan Stadium on June 4, with one clear message repeated by the band and the crowd alike.

  1. Michael Buffer?? like from boxing lol. Guess country music is just sports now. Also “God is good” is always a win I guess, even if I don’t listen to them.

  2. They “walked through the crowd separately” and sang before coming on stage… so like they were doing a flash mob? I mean I’m glad it worked but it sounds kinda chaotic. Also didn’t they split because of a lawsuit or something? I’m probably mixing it up.

  3. “We back baby” is catchy but I still don’t trust it lol. They said indefinite in 2022 so I figured never. Maybe they only reunited for the CMA Fest and then go right back to solo stuff. “Life is short” got me like okay but my life is short too and I can’t even get tickets.
