Fire extinguishers set off during burglary at Rathmullan house

A number of fire extinguishers were set off during a burglary at a Rathmullan house last week. The incident occurred in the area of the Kinnegar Road sometime between 4pm on Thursday the 18th of June and 9.30pm on Saturday. The front door of the house had been forced open and damaged. Entry was gained and a couple of fire extinguishers were set off within the property causing damage to various items such as flooring, pictures and lamps. Nothing was stolen from the house. “We

appeal to anyone who may be able to assist with relevant information to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060,” Garda Pauric McFadden said. “We want to hear from anybody who may have observed any type of suspicious activity in that area between those dates.” The Garda Confidential line may also be reached on 1800 666 111.
