Evacuation warnings for wildfire west of Eben G. Fine Park in Boulder are lifted

A wildfire is burning near Eben G. Fine Park in Boulder, which briefly prompted residents to prepare to evacuate.
Boulder Fire-Rescue is responding to a fire west of Canyon Boulevard, according to a social media post on X. Canyon, though an east-west road, turns into Boulder Canyon Drive for westbound travelers at about Eben G. Fine.
The fire is burning near 101 Pearl Street, according to BOCOAlert, the county’s emergency alert system.
Some people who live south of Sunshine Canyon Drive, west of Fourth Street, and along Boulder Canyon Drive were told to prepare to evacuate, according to two warnings issued at 9:50 a.m. on BOCOAlert. The all clear was given at 10:04 a.m., according to a Boulder Fire follow-up post on X.
People should avoid the area while crews are on the scene.
