Este Haim Tells Brides: Enjoy It, Take It In

Este Haim, who married Jonathan Levin on New Year’s Eve last year, shared wedding advice for soon-to-be brides: have as much fun as possible and take a moment to really absorb the day—even if it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
Este Haim didn’t mince words when it came to what brides should do once the excitement starts—and the stress follows.
In a new interview with People, the 40-year-old musician looked back on her own wedding and offered a simple, heartfelt reminder for anyone currently planning: “Have as much fun as possible. Just enjoy it.”
She described how she was “so overwhelmed,” even though she “enjoyed my wedding so much.” Her one regret? She “wish[ed] that I had also just stopped for a second and took it in.”
“Just take it in for a second and just have the best time. Have so much fun. All those people might not be in the same room ever again,” Este said.
Her timing isn’t random. Last year, Este married tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin in a wedding held on New Year’s Eve. And even with that big moment behind her, she still sounded like she was trying to hand future brides something she didn’t feel she gave herself enough of.
For Taylor Swift, the advice lands closer than most. Taylor, 36, has been very good friends with Este and her sisters, Alana and Danielle Haim, for years. Earlier this month, Taylor, Este, and Alana cheered on the Knicks together at Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals.
At the same time, Taylor’s personal timeline is also heating up. She is currently engaged to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, and the two are reportedly getting married 4th of July weekend—meaning Este’s words are arriving right in the middle of a very public, very romantic stretch.
For Este, it’s not about perfection. It’s about making sure the day—between photos, plans, and pressure—doesn’t rush by without being felt.

So basically just enjoy your wedding? Wild how nobody knew that.
Isn’t this just Taylor Swift trying to stay relevant with Travis? Like ok take it in for a second… sure. Also New Year’s Eve wedding sounds like a nightmare for hangovers.
Wait why did it say she married on New Year’s Eve last year, but then also talk about 2026 Finals? I get mixed up with timelines lol. Either way, “all those people might not be in the same room ever again” is kinda sad actually. My cousin barely gets those moments and we’re family forever, so idk.
This is nice and all but I swear wedding advice articles always ignore the real stress like money and seating charts. Take it in for a second? Yeah when you got people asking for photos every 5 minutes. Also 4th of July wedding with Kelce sounds like it’ll be loud as hell with fireworks in the background, maybe that’ll distract her from taking it in.
