Epstein Files Put Missing Model Michele Back in Focus

Epstein files – A German model named Michele vanished in early September 2025, and her name later surfaced in U.S. releases tied to Jeffrey Epstein. Court documents now include emails where a modeling agent allegedly pitched Michele to Epstein, sending photos and promising, “

For the first time in more than a decade, Michele was named again — not through a family reunion, but through the aftershock of the Epstein files.

A German news outlet reported that a 22-year-old woman named Michele disappeared from her mother’s home sometime in early September 2025. Her brother. Jonas. told the outlet that she took a suitcase to go on a trip “without saying where she was going or for how long. ” and that “was normal.” Jonas expected her to return in a week or two.

It didn’t happen.

A month passed. The family grew concerned. They went to police to report her missing. but law enforcement couldn’t do much because Michele was an adult and there had been no indication a crime had been committed. Her family said there had been no reason to be afraid — she always checked in while she was away — yet even weeks without contact brought no meaningful action.

The months stretched into years. Der Spiegel reported the family contacted Michele’s friends next, but they heard nothing. Then 11 years went by. Michele was never found.

The search didn’t end when she reappeared in the public record; it simply changed shape.

Late last year, the U.S. Department of Justice began releasing millions of documents from the Epstein files. Michele’s name was among the names that surfaced, linked to Daniel Siad, a man alleged to have played a role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring.

Michele’s mother, Annett, told Der Spiegel that her daughter moved to Dubai in 2012 after dropping out of school to pursue modeling. At the Buddha-Bar restaurant that year, Annett said Michele met Siad. She recalled her daughter telling her:

“He said he worked as a model scout and was always on the lookout for pretty girls.”

Siad has previously described his work in interviews as discovering young women and referring them to agencies. But the files reportedly show another layer: he allegedly connected women to wealthy men, including Epstein.

Annett said Michele told her about trips for modeling jobs and photo shoots to China, the United Kingdom and South America, along with luxury hotels and expensive vacations. When her mother asked for more details, Michele would not provide them:

“You would never get an answer out of her.”

She said Michele also brought her onto a yacht in Dubai a year later, where Michele met Siad. Annett remembered him as “open and friendly,” saying:

“He actually came across as legitimate.”

Still, suspicion followed them. Annett said she was uneasy about how quickly her daughter knew so many wealthy people. Her father, Vlado, eventually confronted Michele after hearing her talk to Siad on the phone. Vlado recalled Michele saying:

“Michele said she worked for him as an escort.”

Knowing what they know now, Annett said she believes “Siad set Michele up with rich people who took advantage of her.” And she added that one of those people may have been Epstein.

In February 2014, Siad sent photos of Michele to Epstein by email. A month later. Der Spiegel reported. Siad asked the convicted pedophile if he wanted to send a ticket for “Michele.” In the messages. Siad allegedly promised Epstein that he knew Michele well. calling her “very cool. ” and writing: “you will love her.”.

In another email, Siad reportedly described Michele as “the girl you missed from Germany.” Those emails — Der Spiegel emphasized — came before Michele disappeared.

The emails do not show whether Michele ever met Epstein in person. Two of Epstein’s former assistants told Der Spiegel that they never saw Michele. German police officials also noted she didn’t travel to the US when those emails were sent.

As those details sit under scrutiny, Siad himself is not resting in the shadows. He is currently under investigation in France on suspicion of helping Epstein traffic and abuse women. He has denied any wrongdoing.

The sequence of events — a young woman’s disappearance in early September 2025. her family’s long years of uncertainty. and then a set of emails from 2014 where she is pitched and positioned for a man whose crimes have since been documented — leaves one cruel question hanging over everything: how much was already decided before anyone could stop it?.

For Michele’s family, that question isn’t academic. It’s personal, and it’s late. They say they hoped she would show up one day — and that hope, for better or worse, arrived in the form of names and documents, not answers.

Only one thing feels clear: years after Michele vanished without a trace, her story is still being pulled back into view by evidence tied to Epstein and the man now accused of placing her among wealthy circles.
