England vs Costa Rica: How to Watch Live, Kickoff

How to – England returns to action against Costa Rica on Wednesday, June 10, at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando. After a difficult “freestyle” showing against New Zealand, the match will be broadcast on ITV1 in the UK (and streamed on ITVX) and covered in the US by Fox Spo

By the time England steps onto the pitch in Orlando, the message from the weekend is already clear: the performance won’t be judged kindly, especially after the “freestyle” display against a stubborn New Zealand.

Thomas Tuchel will be looking for a cleaner response with his team when the Three Lions face Costa Rica. He was far from happy with what happened in Tampa, even with mitigating circumstances. Match-winner Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham pointed to the conditions and a sub-par playing surface. explaining how it dulled the efficiency of England’s possession game against a deep-lying defense.

Costa Rica, meanwhile, are expected to press the same buttons. The 2014 World Cup quarterfinalists failed to qualify for the upcoming tournament. finishing behind Haiti and Honduras in their third round group. Ranked 51st in FIFA’s rankings. the Central American nation has struggled badly in its previous two outings—losing 5–0 to Iran in March and then suffering a 3–1 defeat to Colombia last week. Their likely approach against England is to refuse space “in and around the box. ” a defensive plan built to frustrate teams trying to play their way through.

The bigger question is whether England’s next showing matches the urgency of the last one. The signs point toward an England win, but the staging and the broadcast make it easy to watch the turnaround unfold live—right when the world is shifting toward the 2026 World Cup.

  1. England better not play “freestyle” again lol. If they’re blaming the field, that’s kinda always an excuse. Also Costa Rica can’t even qualify? That seems wild.

  2. Wait, I thought England vs Costa Rica was already played in Tampa? Like didn’t they say something happened there with Tuchel? Maybe I’m mixing it up with the New Zealand game. Anyway if the pitch was bad, does that mean England’s possession doesn’t count? Sounds like excuses to me.

  3. Fox, ITV… so who has it in the US, Fox Sports or just some weird Fox channel? And Inter&Co Stadium sounds familiar but I can’t place it. England will probably win but I don’t trust them after that 5-0 thing everyone keeps bringing up. Plus Costa Rica ranked 51st?? Haiti and Honduras ahead of them? Kinda feels like the whole story is just numbers.
