Elsie Hewitt says she’s looking for an assistant or nanny type “right hand person” after splitting from Pete Davidson, weeks after their breakup following the arrival of their daughter, Scottie Rose, in December 2025.
Pete Davidson’s ex, Elsie Hewitt, is moving fast to build the support system she says she needs—posting a clear call for a new “right hand person” just days after she and the former Saturday Night Live star split.
On Saturday. May 16. the Industry actress. 30. shared the search on her Instagram Story. writing: “I’m currently trying to find an assistant / mother’s helper / nanny type / basically [a] right hand person.” She added that anyone interested would have to fit her expectations. telling applicants: “Apply here if qualified and serious. ” and specifying. “Only looking @ responses with resumes.. ($ of course.)”
The timing lands five months after Hewitt and Davidson, 32, welcomed their first baby together—a daughter named Scottie Rose—on 12/12/2025.. At the time. Hewitt marked the birth on Instagram with: “Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025 scottie rose hewitt davidson. ” adding. “My best work yet. i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”
Their relationship. which had played out quickly in the spotlight. began in March 2025. when they were spotted together before announcing in July that they were expecting a baby together.. Around then. they also spoke to Us Weekly in a joint interview. saying they planned to get married and have more children.. In that conversation. Davidson insisted: “Yeah. we’ll do all that stuff.” He also teased future plans while focusing on the baby’s early months. hinting: “I think. obviously. we talk about next steps and all that stuff.. But right now, we’re just, like, let’s get this routine with this baby down.. … The first three months of the baby is, you’re just keeping her alive.. We’re already, like, we’re gonna have another one.”
Now, those plans have shifted.. Us Weekly reported on Saturday that Davidson and Hewitt decided to separate after 14 months of dating.. A source close to the couple said they’re “still sorting things out as it pertains to their split. ” adding that they “tried to make it work” but faced “different stressors. including having a baby together as two people who didn’t yet know each other that well.” The insider also said both are trying to make it work and have made “accommodations in their schedules for the baby.”
The source further suggested it’s “very unlikely” the two will reconcile romantically, while stressing they remain invested in coparenting. “They are still rooting for each other but are each going their own ways, outside of working to coparent and focusing on their baby,” the source told Us.
Earlier this week, Davidson appeared on his “Pete Davidson Show” podcast and opened up about parenting moments with Scottie Rose.. He said, “[She] is 5 months old now,” and described her activities and communication: “She’s doing tummy time.. She is really, really communicative.. She’s trying to talk now.. She’ll talk all day. but it’s just she’s going ‘la.’ So we kind of talk all day. and she’s so young.”
