Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose divorce after 7 months of marriage
Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce from Firerose just seven months after they tied the knot.

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus are two peas in a country pod.
Hurley, during a recent interview on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” said the couple – who have been together nearly a year and a half – are “remarkably similar in strangely different ways.”
“We’ve both been in showbiz our whole lives. We’ve both lived out of suitcases our entire lives, so that’s very normal for us,” she said. “You’re not reliable for anything because work comes first, so we’ve both been that person for a very long time, and that really helps. We’re both also, again, even though we’ve always both worked in the cities, we’re both country mice at heart.”
Hurley, who grew up in a market town in Hampshire, England, and Cyrus, who is from Flatwoods, Kentucky, share a desire for a quiet life, she said.
“We like bird watching. We’ve got binoculars. We’ve got long lenses, and we watch ‘Birds of Prey’ a lot,” she continued. “I do the gardening. He sits under a tree and plays his guitar, and we couldn’t be happier. May sound odd to some people, but for me, it’s bliss.”

The former model, 61, added that they have taken the next step – meeting each other’s families.
“He gets on really well with my family because when he’s here I often have a lot of family staying,” Hurley, who lives part-time on a country estate in Herefordshire, England, said. “I’ve been lucky to meet some of his kids, and they seem fabulous. My spaniel called Ava follows him around and goes into mourning when he leaves, so we have really integrated pretty well.”
Hurley has one son, Damian Hurley. Cyrus, 64, has six children, including Noah Cyrus and Miley Cyrus.
“I have met Miley. She’s adorable,” Hurley said of the pop star. “I’d never met her [before], but my son used to love Hannah Montana, so he loved Father Montana, and you know, he loved Miley too, so I always knew who she was. I used to have to watch her music videos like ‘Wrecking Ball’ a zillion times with him. I knew I was going to like her, and I do like her.”
