When will Dutch Bros open in Tracy? City shares first details
Dutch Bros will open its first location in Tracy. The new coffee shop has not started construction yet.
Arizona-based coffee chain Dutch Bros is continuing its expansion by opening four locations in four states in the coming months.
While Dutch Bros hasn’t confirmed dates, the coffee chain said the openings will happen during its third quarter, which runs from July to the end of September.
“We have a plan that involves strategic, healthy growth,” the company said on its FAQ website.
One of the openings will be in Des Moines, Iowa, where the company filed paperwork with the city to turn a Fazoli’s restaurant into a 986-square-foot drive-thru with no indoor dining, the Des Moines Register, part of the USA TODAY Network, reported.

Coffee chain bringing Rebel Energy Drinks and shakes to South Carolina, other states
Dutch Bros’ high-energy atmosphere, drive-thru, upbeat music and energetic staff are the coffee chain’s attempt to appeal to Gen Z and millennials who want a quick cup of coffee, The Des Moines Register reported.
Some people like the coffee chain so much that they call themselves the Dutch Mafia.
In addition to coffee, the company serves refreshers, lemonade, iced tea, smoothies, shakes, hot cocoa and sparkling soda. One of the company’s signature drinks, the Rebel Energy Drink, comes in more than 10 flavors, including Shark Attack Rebel.
The drink contains blue raspberry, coconut and lime with a pomegranate float. If they want, customers can also get additions like poppin’ boba.
