Dunkin’s Barbie tie-in turns summer drinks pink

The first thing customers will notice this summer at Dunkin’ isn’t just the flavors—it’s the color. Starting June 3. the coffee and doughnut chain is rolling out a new lineup of iced drinks built around pink sips. topped by a Barbie collaboration that turns a regular order into something that looks like a summer moment.

At the center of the promotion is a limited-time Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam. Dunkin’ says the pink. creamy strawberry topping will be available across its new lineup. including the Ultimate Pink Daydream Refresher. Double Strawberry Daydream Refresher. Pink Mango Daydream Refresher. Pink Cherry Daydream Refresher. Strawberry Cloud Matcha. Strawberries & Creme Cloud Dunkalatte. and Almond Strawberry Shortcake Iced Coffee.

Dunkin’ is also introducing the Pink Pineapple Refresher. a light pink iced beverage with notes of pineapple. raspberry and hibiscus flavors. Customers can customize the drink’s base with green tea. black tea. lemonade. oatmilk. protein milk or sparkling water. choosing how bold. bubbly. creamy or tart they want it to be.

Jill Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin’, said in a news release, “Pink has always been part of Dunkin’s DNA, and this summer we’re taking it further than ever – bold, fun and unmistakably Dunkin’,” adding that the campaign is meant to feel “fresh, joyful and distinctly pink all season long.”

The Barbie partnership is also spilling beyond cups. To celebrate the collaboration. Dunkin’ will debut a Barbie DreamHouse-inspired store takeover in New York City. transforming the Midtown Dunkin’ located at 265 West 37th St. into a “pink destination.” The takeover starts June 10 at 11 a.m. EDT, and guests will be invited to snap photos and enjoy their favorite pink drinks.

Online, Dunkin’ will launch a limited-edition Dunkin’ x Barbie merch collection on June 10 through DunkinRunOnMerch.com, with select items also available at the store takeover. Dunkin’ will also sell the Barbie Pink Pineapple Cup starting June 12 at participating locations, while supplies last.

Alongside the pink lineup, Dunkin’ is expanding its food options. The summer menu includes a Rocket Pop Classic Donut, described as a yeast shell filled with cherry, lime and raspberry flavored “Rocket Pop” buttercreme, topped with blue icing and a stars and stripes sprinkle blend.

There’s also a Golden BBQ Hash Brown Wake-Up Wrap. made with bacon. egg and American cheese wrapped with three hash browns and Golden BBQ sauce. For hash brown lovers. Dunkin’ is rolling out Golden BBQ Loaded Hash Browns—a bowl of nine hash browns drizzled with sweet and tangy Golden BBQ sauce and topped with crumbled bacon.

For shoppers looking to pair it all together, Dunkin’ introduced a $6 Meal Deal that allows customers to get any two Wake-Up Wrap sandwiches and a medium hot or iced coffee.

The new drinks and the Barbie-branded events arrive on the same calendar as Dunkin’s broader summer push. With June 3 set for the menu launch and June 10 reserved for both the Midtown takeover and the online merch drop, the promotion is designed to move quickly—from first sip to full experience.

Dunkin’ is also signaling momentum through additional promotions tied to its summer lineup, including the release of 48oz buckets that can be filled with iced coffee or refreshers.

  1. Pink drinks in June… sounds nice I guess. But like is it actually strawberry flavored or just food dye? My friend said it stains your cup.

  2. They’re launching June 3 and then a store takeover June 10 in NYC right? I feel like this is just an excuse to sell more sugar. Also “matchin The first thing customers will notice” like what does that even mean? maybe my reading is broken.

  3. I saw “Barbie Pink Strawberry Cold Foam” and thought they meant like pink foam like from a kitchen science experiment. If you can customize with protein milk or sparkling water, why not just get normal lemonade? Still though, that Midtown store turning into a pink destination… sounds like a big marketing trap.
