ATLANTA — The Atlanta Dream didn’t just win. They took control in a packed State Farm Arena, turning a tight halftime score into a decisive third-quarter surge and leaving the Indiana Fever chasing the rest of the night.

Rhyne Howard scored 24 points and Allisha Gray added 22 as Atlanta beat Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever 113-96 on Saturday. It was the Dream’s third straight win, and it came in front of a sellout crowd of 17,044 at State Farm Arena, home of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.

Angel Reese reached a career milestone during the game, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 1,000 career rebounds. She hit the mark in her 79th game and finished with 18 points and eight rebounds.

The Dream improved to 11-4 and picked up a second win over Indiana in three days, after earning a 108-101 road victory on Thursday.

  1. Angel Reese getting 1,000 rebounds already is wild. Also Caitlin Clark still putting up numbers even in a loss like she can’t help it.

  2. Fastest to 1,000 rebounds… does that mean she grabbed 1,000 rebounds in one season or something? Because 79 games is like college math lol.

  3. Rhyne Howard 24 and Gray 22, okay. But what I don’t get is Atlanta was down at halftime 59-56 and then somehow outscored them 28-15 in the third… like did Indiana just fall asleep? And why were the Hawks and Latto there, is this some crossover event or what?
