DNC X account trades vulgar jab with Stephen Miller

DNC X – The Democratic National Convention’s official X account posted a vulgar insult Wednesday after White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller quoted a DNC post about Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, escalating already-contentious battles in the race ag

On Wednesday, the official X account for the Democratic National Convention didn’t just respond to Stephen Miller. It went straight for a profanity-laced insult.

The exchange began earlier in the morning, when the DNC posted a tweet supporting Texas Senate candidate James Talarico. Talarico. 37. is set to face Republican Ken Paxton in a race that has become one of the country’s most contentious. The DNC’s post backed Talarico with a message about taking back Texas and a photo of him standing in front of the Texas flag.

Hours later, Miller quoted that Democrats’ post with a jab of his own: “The Democrats made history in Texas by nominating their first transgender senate candidate.”

Shortly after, the DNC fired back on the same platform with a personal insult, posting: “Shut up you ugly fuck.”

The language landed on a day when the broader contest for the Texas Senate seat is already steeped in fighting over identity and culture. Talarico, described as a progressive, has faced a barrage of attacks from Republicans since rising in popularity in recent months. Critics have centered their attacks on his views on transgender issues, including that he previously suggested there were six genders.

Republican criticism has also focused on Talarico’s claim that God is “non-binary.” Talarico later admitted he made the comment only to be “provocative.”

The DNC’s push for Talarico comes as the Paxton race remains politically raw for another reason: Paxton’s win came after President Donald Trump issued a stunning endorsement of Paxton over incumbent Senator John Cornyn (R-TX).

Wednesday’s sudden, vulgar back-and-forth underscored how quickly the race—and the fight around it—can turn personal, even as the electorate is still wrestling with the sharper questions over what the candidates say and what they stand for.
