Disney’s power – Disney’s internal org charts, compiled from screenshots shared by staff, lay out who reports to CEO Josh D’Amaro and key leaders across TV, streaming product and tech, ESPN, and Disney’s content operations—while the company pushes original storytelling, invest

When Josh D’Amaro took over as Disney’s CEO in March. the changes were supposed to feel clean: more original storytelling. better streaming technology. and a parks business that keeps running. Behind that message sits a messier reality—an internal power map that reveals how the company’s most influential executives are tied together in TV. ESPN. product. and tech.

D’Amaro has emphasized original, creative storytelling since taking the top job in March. He has also focused on improving Disney’s streaming technology and keeping the parks business—previously overseen by him—“humming.” To steer content creation and franchise building. Disney installed TV executive Dana Walden as chief creative officer. The goal is to usher in new hit franchises and solidify Disney’s strategy in video games.

That creative push is now running alongside a rapid shift in how Disney’s tech teams work. Disney is embracing AI on its tech teams while also creating tools for AI-generated ads on Disney+. At the same time. Disney is planning to phase out Hulu as a stand-alone app. even as the company’s leaders say they aren’t yet working on a full-blown “super app” that would let consumers buy tickets to its theme parks.

The organizational chart also captures a corporate aftershock: Disney’s Disney Entertainment and its marketing team were impacted by layoffs in April. Even with all the moving parts. Business Insider compiled Disney’s internal organizational charts showing who reports to top executives in the C-suite and the Product & Tech teams. The charts were based on screenshots sent by a staffer.

D’Amaro’s Disney has now published org charts for reports to several senior leaders: Hugh Johnston. Disney’s chief financial officer; Jimmy Pitaro. chairman of ESPN; Chris Lawson. EVP of content platforms & operations for Disney Entertainment; and Erin Teague. EVP of product management for Disney Entertainment.

The org charts are presented in alphabetical order by first name and cover three major layers of leadership: direct reports to Josh D’Amaro, direct reports to Dana Walden, direct reports to Hugh Johnston, direct reports to Jimmy Pitaro, and the Product & Tech leadership direct reports.

In the C-suite section. the charts outline the direct reports to CEO Josh D’Amaro and to chief creative officer Dana Walden. plus the direct reporting lines to Hugh Johnston. chief financial officer. and Jimmy Pitaro. chairman of ESPN. In the product and tech leadership section. the charts include direct reports to Adam Smith. product and tech chief at Disney Entertainment. as well as direct reports to Andre Rohe. EVP of product engineering; Chris Lawson. EVP of content platforms & operations; and Erin Teague. EVP of product management for Disney Entertainment.

There is also a clear thread connecting the current org-chart focus with earlier reporting. The outlet previously reported on D’Amaro and Walden’s org charts as well as the power structure of streaming product and tech under Adam Smith. the product and tech chief at Disney Entertainment. The newest publication extends that same internal view to the reporting lines tied to Johnston, Pitaro, Lawson, and Teague.

The company’s leadership structure lands at the intersection of entertainment and infrastructure—where the same executive chain that drives storytelling franchises is also expected to keep streaming technology improving. integrate AI into daily engineering work. and build advertising tools for Disney+.

For Disney executives. the message is straightforward: keep the creative machine producing. keep the technology shipping. and reorganize the reporting lines as needed to match the pace of a media world where rivals include YouTube. For employees and observers. the org charts offer something more practical—an answer to a question that always follows corporate transformation: who actually has the closest line to power. and who they manage as Disney tries to stay an entertainment powerhouse while the tech evolves around it.
