Christina Applegate Reportedly Discharged From Hospital After Nearly Four-Month Stay

Christina Applegate has been discharged from the hospital.

The 54-year-old actress is reportedly home after a nearly four-month stay, according to TMZ. A source told the outlet that she’s home now and doing well.

Christina was hospitalized in late March amid her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis (MS). She previously took to Instagram to talk about her “health issues,” saying she was “taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough.”

“Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes,” the Emmy winner added.

Christina has not specified exactly why she was hospitalized. In February 2026, she said she spends most of her time in bed.

Her rep then spoke out in April, sharing in a statement, “I have no comment whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are. She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.”

Reports of Christina‘s hospitalization came weeks after she and MeSsy podcast co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler announced their show was going on a brief hiatus.

Last year, Christina shared the role she would love to play if she “could work again.”
