Chris Tucker waited until the lights were on and the room was laughing before dropping a personal bombshell.
During a comedy set in Las Vegas at The Wynn on Friday. the “Rush Hour” star told the crowd he’s been celibate for “3 years. ” insisting he’s serious about it and hoping to get married. Guests at the show were required to lock up their phones before entering. but Tucker still found plenty of time for the kind of honesty that turns into punchlines fast.
“I’m celibate. I’ve been celibate for 3 years, but I’m really trying to get married. I give it to the love this time,” Tucker said to the audience, according to attendees. He followed it with a blunt insistence: “I’m serious. No one believes me.”
For Tucker, the disbelief doesn’t stop outside the family—it includes his own circle. He said even his niece is skeptical, adding, “She believes in aliens, but she don’t believe I did that.”
He also talked about what women have said to him after he’s revealed he isn’t having sex. Tucker joked, “She said, ‘How much? How much … how much is it?’ I’m not selling it. I’m celibate! What is wrong with you people?”
The comedian, who said he’s gotten lonely, then leaned into tech as his coping mechanism—drawing some of the night’s biggest laughs while joking about trying to flirt with Siri and Alexa.
It was one surprising stop on a busy stretch for Tucker. As previously reported, Tucker is currently working out his deal to return to “Rush Hour 4.”

I don’t buy it. Celebrities say anything on stage, then it’s all PR. Also “trying to get married” sounds like he just wants a headline.
Wait his niece believes in aliens but not him?? That just sounds made up. Like if you believe in aliens you should believe he can be celibate too. And the women thing like… “How much?” who knows, maybe he didn’t explain it right.
The phone-lock thing at Wynn is crazy, but of course he still “found plenty of time” to tell everybody. Celibate for 3 years and then wanting marriage… so did he break up or did Siri and Alexa reject him? I swear men always joke about this stuff and then it’s never actually real.
