Diamond Brown. the singer’s baby mother. went to a Los Angeles court in May seeking legal and physical custody of their child. In her filing, she proposed that Chris receive visitation rights instead of shared custody. Chris fired back in court documents obtained by TMZ, demanding joint legal and physical custody. He also argued that both he and Diamond should cover the costs tied to the legal battle.
The custody fight has unfolded alongside a public spiral of accusations. Weeks before Diamond’s court filing. she trashed Chris on social media. accusing him of trying to scare off her new boyfriend despite the fact that Chris is in a new relationship as well. Jada Wallace—Chris’s girlfriend—jumped into the conversation, accusing Diamond of keeping Lovely from Chris.
The exchange kept escalating. Diamond later insinuated she was ready to fight Jada.
While the arguments played out online, both households have been changing behind the scenes. Jada and Chris became parents to a baby boy, welcoming him in late April.
