The moment you swipe your Choice Privileges cobranded card. you’re not just paying—you’re also building a shot at a huge hotel-points payout. This summer. Choice Privileges is running a sweepstakes for holders of the Choice Privileges Mastercard and the Choice Privileges Select Mastercard. with automatic entries tied to eligible purchases.
The promotion runs from now through Sept. 30. Cardholders will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes for every purchase they make during that window. There’s no registration required, and each eligible purchase earns one entry.
Prizes are scaled from daily wins to a single grand prize. One winner will receive 1 million Choice points as the grand prize. Four winners—one per month—will get 250,000 Choice points each. And 122 daily winners will receive 50,000 Choice points, with one winner for each day the sweepstakes is open.
The promotional numbers come with dollar values based on TPG’s June 2026 valuations: 1 million Choice points are valued at $6,000 at 0.6 cents per point, 250,000 points are valued at $1,500, and 50,000 points are valued at $300. Cardholders can read the official rules and full details here.
The push is also about keeping card spending connected to hotel loyalty. Cardholders earn Choice points with every purchase, with the payout depending on which card they hold. With the Choice Privileges Mastercard. cardholders earn 10 points per dollar spent on stays at participating Choice properties and on purchases of Choice points. They also earn 5 points per dollar spent at gas stations. grocery stores. home improvement stores. and on phone plan services. and 1 point per dollar on other purchases.
With the Choice Privileges Select Mastercard. the earn structure is listed as earning 10 points per dollar spent on stays at participating Choice properties and purchases of Choice points. and 5 points per dollar spent at gas stations. grocery stores and home improvement stores. as well as on phone plan services. plus 1 point per dollar on other purchases.
For people who don’t yet have a Choice card. there’s also a time-limited elevated welcome offer tied specifically to the Choice Privileges Mastercard. New applicants can earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. That offer ends Sept. 8, and the 60,000 points are valued at $360 based on TPG’s valuations.
The Choice Privileges Select Mastercard offers the same 60. 000 bonus points. but with a $95 annual fee and a higher spending threshold: applicants must spend $3. 000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. Right now. the Choice Privileges Mastercard is positioned as the easier entry because it has no annual fee while requiring $1. 000 in spending instead of $3. 000.
Bottom line: with 127 Choice cardholders eligible to win from now through Sept. 30. the sweepstakes is straightforward — no registration. one entry per eligible purchase. and a clear path from everyday spending to potentially major point prizes. Plus, the elevated welcome offer on the no-annual-fee Choice Privileges Mastercard runs through Sept. 8 for new applicants who hit the first-three-month spending requirement.

So basically swipe = win points? Sounds like free money lol.
I don’t get why they say “automatic entries” but also “eligible purchases.” Like what counts as eligible, my coffee? Also Wells Fargo is always so scammy-feeling to me.
Wait, is this the same thing as those hotel points scams where you have to call to claim it? It says no registration, but then it says there are official rules… so you’re telling me there’s still a catch.
1 million Choice points valued at $6,000?? I’ve never seen Choice points do anything close to that. Half the time points are fake value in small print. But sure, I guess I’ll keep swiping until Sept 30 and hope they don’t change the terms mid-summer.
