Casio’s GA110PKM-7A puts 30 Pokémon on wrists
Casio GA110PKM-7A – Casio has officially unveiled the GA110PKM-7A, a full-sized G-SHOCK built to celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary—moving the franchise beyond compact Baby-G designs and onto the bold, oversized GA110 platform with 30 Pokémon featured on the band.
The box is already a warning sign for anyone who thought they were “just” buying a watch. It arrives shaped like a Poké Ball, printed with all 30 Pokémon lined up along the band—one for each year of the franchise’s run.
Casio has officially collaborated with Pokémon, releasing an ambitious new watch that puts 30 pocket monsters on your wrist. The watch giant announced the GA110PKM-7A, a full-sized G-SHOCK built in honor of the Pokémon franchise’s 30th anniversary.
For years, Casio’s Pokémon-branded timepieces lived exclusively on compact Baby-G silhouettes. This one breaks that pattern. It rides the bold, oversized GA110 platform.
The design leans hard into the look of the original games. Red. green. and blue accents run across the hands. buttons. dial. and bezel. nodding to Pocket Monsters Red. Pocket Monsters Green. and Pocket Monsters Blue—titles that launched in Japan in 1996. The franchise later crossed overseas two years later as Pokémon Red and Blue.
On the face, a Poké Ball-inspired inset dial sits at the 9 o’clock position. The watch hands are shaped in Pikachu’s iconic silhouette. And the band turns into the story of the franchise itself: 30 Pokémon. starting with the original Kanto starters—Charmander. Squirtle. and Bulbasaur—then moving through the Paldea region with Sprigatito. Fuecoco. and Quaxly. Pikachu and Eevee are also represented. Mew, the Mythical Pokémon said to carry the genes of all Pokémon, occupies the band loop.
The commemorative details continue at the back. The caseback is engraved with a 30th-anniversary Pokémon logo.
What Casio is selling here isn’t just a licensed design. The GA110PKM-7A pairs that nostalgia-heavy artwork with the kind of specs G-SHOCK fans expect: 200-meter water resistance; shock and magnetic resistance; world time across 29 zones; five daily alarms; and a 1/1000th-second stopwatch with speed measurement. It also includes a full auto-calendar running through 2099.
Casio’s move from Baby-G to GA110 changes the feel of the collaboration immediately—less “cute collectible,” more “wear-it-everywhere” statement. And with 30 Pokémon built into the band. plus the Poké Ball packaging and the engraved anniversary logo. the watch doesn’t just mark a milestone. It tries to wear the entire milestone on your wrist.
