So… they bought it or just said they might?
Every time I see “forward-looking statements” I assume it means something got delayed lol. But congrats? Calgary always gets the headlines for corporate stuff.
Wait PinkWood is like… the same as Canfor? The wording is confusing. Also why does the article talk about “plans” and “may” like it’s not even final? I’m just trying to figure out if jobs are coming to Calgary or if it’s all smoke.
Forward-looking statements sounds like legal mumbo jumbo so they don’t have to admit anything later. Canfor buying stuff in Calgary feels like one of those things where workers get laid off and the company says “uncertainties” like that explains it. Who even is PinkWood, like is it a person? Probably another company name they changed so it’s easier.
