Caeli Santaolalla was voted out by viewers from La Casa de los Famosos as the Season 6 finale approaches, and she says the elimination felt both surprising and shaped by where she stood in the house. The finale airs Thursday, June 11, with a $200,000 prize.
When the elimination room door opened and Caeli Santaolalla walked out, she wasn’t shocked by the danger—she was shocked by the timing.
“I knew that there was always a risk of being eliminated,” she told MISRYOUM after her eviction. “Every time I went into the elimination room. I was never confident.” She added that the result caught her off guard because. in her view. the placement didn’t match what it usually would: “This [elimination] did surprise me because it was next to Verónica [del Castillo] that had less time in the house.”.
Del Castillo, who entered later in the game, has quickly become a fan favorite. For Caeli, that rising popularity wasn’t the only pressure point—what mattered most was where she stood with other players.
One of Caeli’s biggest moves in the last week was to distance herself from an alliance she described as the “Guerreros de la Luz” (Warriors of Light). She believes that staying tied to that group “could’ve cost her a spot in the game.”
The house hasn’t been quiet around her. Even with feuds, shouts, and loud moments throughout the show, Caeli doesn’t frame her behavior as regret. She described her conflicts as reaction rather than strategy: “It was ‘responses to their provocations. ’” she said. adding. “I never knew that they would get to that level.”.
Still, the eviction didn’t erase what she feels she gained. Despite the tension of the competition, Caeli said she wants the experience again. “I like to challenge myself,” she told MISRYOUM. “This [experience] left me as a stronger woman. I learned a lot, and that is what I’m keeping from all of this. But next time, I’ll win.”.
Season 6’s finale is close enough that every vote feels like it’s counting down the final steps. The show’s finale will air Thursday, June 11, live from coast to coast starting at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. The winner will take home $200,000.
Caeli is no longer in the running, but the race remains packed. Still competing for the cash prize are Celinee Santos, Curvy Zelma, Fabio Agostini, Horacio Pancheri, Josh Martínez, Kenny Rodríguez, Luis Coronel, Stefano Piccioni, Verónica del Castillo, and Yoridan Martínez.
The days after her exit will keep the pressure on. Friday, June 5, will see another housemate evicted, with another one being voted out on Sunday, June 7. Eight housemates will become finalists. and then one housemate will be evicted on Monday. Tuesday. and Wednesday—leaving five contestants for finale night.
For viewers, it means the drama won’t taper off; it’s getting sharper, closer, and more personal with every vote.
