Brooke Hogan Slams CWPD Over Hulk Death Probe

Brooke Hogan says the Clearwater Police Department closing its review of Hulk Hogan’s death investigation misses key points. She accuses authorities of mishandling the case from the start, questions blood and toxicology findings, and calls the department’s pub

Brooke Hogan didn’t react like someone who’s relieved the Clearwater Police Department has wrapped its nearly yearlong review of Hulk Hogan’s death. She reacted like someone still waiting for the details to line up.

After the department announced there is no evidence indicating Hulk Hogan’s death was anything other than natural. Brooke told TMZ she was stunned to see the Clearwater Police Department publicly thank her for her cooperation. In her telling, she felt like “an outsider throughout the entire process.”.

She pushed back hard on the way the investigation began. saying there were “a lot of inconsistencies from the BEGINNING.” Brooke added: “I think CWPD missed the mark by not IMMEDIATELY making this a big investigation and not questioning everything and everybody out the gate. This should have been treated as a taped off, locked down, thorough investigation from day one.”.

To Brooke, the department’s public acknowledgment didn’t land as gratitude. She called it “a slap in the face.” Clearwater police have declined to comment on her statements.

Brooke pointed to issues she says still don’t add up as the review’s conclusion was made public. One of her main concerns involves blood-related information she says she was given during the process. She said she was told at one point there were no blood samples available. “only to later hear investigators found nothing suspicious in Hulk’s blood.”.

She also questioned what appears in police records released to the public. Brooke said the records include redactions related to prescriptions Hulk was taking for pain and sleep—medications she says do not appear in the toxicology findings.

The family’s access to results is another point of friction. Brooke said TMZ previously reported that she contacted police within days of Hulk’s death. asking whether an autopsy would be performed. She said a private autopsy was ultimately conducted for the family. but she was never allowed to see the results. and she says they were never publicly released.

Brooke also questioned how the death certificate was handled, saying she doesn’t understand why Hulk’s death certificate was signed by his personal physician rather than someone from the medical examiner’s office.

Her criticism arrives days after Clearwater police wrapped their nearly yearlong review. The department said medical records, witness interviews, surveillance footage, and other evidence showed no signs of foul play or criminal wrongdoing in the wrestling icon’s death.

Still, for Brooke, the final report doesn’t appear to close the gap between what she was told and what she believes the public record shows.

  1. I mean blood tox stuff is always confusing, but if there were inconsistencies from the beginning then yeah… that’s not great. Also that “thank you for cooperation” thing sounds weird, like why would she be relieved?

  2. Wait, I thought “Hulk” was already cleared or something? The way she’s talking makes it sound like they lied about blood samples being available, and that’s scary. But at the same time, redactions for prescriptions doesn’t automatically mean foul play, it could just be privacy. Idk, my brain can’t decide.

  3. Brooke’s acting like she was treated like an outsider, which is believable but also… cops gonna cop. If they “didn’t immediately make it a big investigation” then that seems like they dropped the ball. And how are you gonna tell someone there were no blood samples and then later say they found nothing suspicious? That’s either a paperwork screw up or somebody messed up. Either way, “no evidence” is not the same as “we proved it was natural,” so people should chill with the happy ending.
