Britney Spears dreams of another baby after DUI

Britney Spears, 44, says she hopes to have another child after a turbulent stretch that included a DUI arrest, a guilty plea to a lesser charge, and rehab—while her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James step back into public view.
Britney Spears marked Father’s Day on June 21 with a message that felt less like a greeting and more like a wish she couldn’t stop thinking about.
In a now-deleted Instagram post. the “Toxic” hitmaker wrote that she hopes one day to “have another baby. ” tying the idea to the small details of her life. “It’s an emotional day for me. guitars remind me of baby aliens. such gentle strings music is said to be the speech of angels. I bought this one in Mexico 🇲🇽 in hopes one day I can have another baby. ” she wrote in the caption.
Spears, 44, is no stranger to the push and pull of motherhood. She welcomed son Sean Preston with ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2005 and son Jayden James in 2006. She later found love with Sam Asghari and announced a pregnancy in 2022. A month later, she and Asghari shared the heartbreaking news of losing their unborn child, and they eventually divorced in 2024.
Her desire for another child arrives months after a difficult legal chapter. After her March arrest for allegedly driving erratically on a Southern California highway, she pleaded guilty to a lesser “wet reckless” charge. The deal came with 12 months of probation, a DUI class, and fines and fees.
Soon after, Spears addressed her emotional state in a since-deleted Instagram post. She wrote. “I have a lot of emotional issues that come up in my kitchen… I have no idea why… I guess that’s usually where we as family all come together to celebrate. pray and cook and well for some reason I did my crafts there.”.
Her message ended on a brighter note, and an insider told Page Six that she was “healthy and happy and feeling very positive and excited to start afresh.” The source added, “Rehab was a great opportunity for her to ground herself.”
Behind the headlines, her family life continues to shift in visible ways. In recent months, Spears’s son Sean, 20, changed his Instagram handle from “Sean P Federline” to “Sean P Spears,” though there have been no indications that his legal surname has changed.
Jayden, 19, also stepped back into the spotlight. HELLO! reported that he made his first red carpet appearance in a decade at the Dior 2027 Cruise collection show in Los Angeles, posing confidently in distressed jeans and a green bomber jacket.
For Spears, the June 21 post wasn’t just about the future—it was a snapshot of where her mind is right now: back on motherhood, even after a year that left her scrambling to regain control of her personal narrative.
