Brad Pitt Accused of Secret Intel Moves in Jolie Fight

Brad Pitt is accused of making improper, secret moves to obtain information tied to a Texas bankruptcy involving Stoli, the Russian vodka company at the center of his Château Miraval dispute with Angelina Jolie. Stoli claims Pitt’s team issued a December 2025
Brad Pitt’s lawyers may be fighting Angelina Jolie in court, but the latest legal shot is circling a different target: a subpoena, a bank request, and emails tied to Stoli.
The accusations come from Stoli. the Russian vodka giant dragged into Pitt and Jolie’s bitter legal fight over their French estate. Château Miraval. In newly filed legal documents obtained in the case. Stoli says Pitt made improper moves by issuing a subpoena in December 2025 as part of a bankruptcy filed in Texas.
Stoli claims the subpoena was sent to a bank and demanded records of emails exchanged with Stoli. The request also included questions about Vladimir Putin, Russia, and whether Stoli has any Russian assets.
This dispute sits inside a wider conflict over the winery. Brad and Angelina bought the winery during their marriage, and after they divorced, Jolie sold her stake to Stoli. Pitt has argued that Jolie needed his approval to sell her stake, a point Jolie disputes. Pitt also claimed Stoli’s head had ties to Russia and that the company was trying to mount a hostile takeover of a business he had spent years building.
Stoli’s new filing adds fuel to the timeline. Stoli says Pitt told the company about the subpoena weeks after he had already obtained the documents from the bank. The liquor company argues the subpoena concerned matters it says have nothing to do with the case.
Stoli also says Pitt and his team already have the documents they requested—and it wants them destroyed immediately.
In Stoli’s view, Pitt didn’t disclose the subpoena until after he received the documents, potentially limiting Stoli’s ability to object.
Pitt’s side pushes back on the idea that secrecy is at the center of this. A source close to Brad says Angelina and Stoli have a habit of not sharing documents about their deal. calling the back-and-forth “pot and kettle.” The source also claims the problem is partly communication: Pitt’s and Stoli’s attorneys weren’t coordinating because the lawyers on the other side had knowledge of the request.
The same source dismisses the fight as premature, saying the hearing hasn’t even happened yet.
Through it all, the bottom line described by Pitt’s camp is that Brad did not want to sell to the company because of concerns about Stoli’s business practices. The bankruptcy documents at issue, Pitt’s side says, underscore those concerns and reinforce the earlier arguments tied to Stoli.
Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Château Miraval Stoli Russian vodka December 2025 subpoena Texas bankruptcy Vladimir Putin legal battle winery dispute
Brad always seems shady in lawsuits but idk this is prob just legal games.
So he used a subpoena to get emails and they’re worried about Putin?? Like why is vodka involved with politics in the first place. Seems like both sides are lying.
I read “Texas bankruptcy” and instantly thought Angelina filed bankruptcy or something? Like no? Either way if he asked a bank for emails then yeah that’s not cool. Also Stoli asking to destroy documents is weirdly dramatic.
This whole Miraval thing is like watching a reality show but with paperwork. One minute it’s winery approvals, next minute it’s subpoenas and Putin questions, then “pot and kettle” like… ok who knows. If the lawyers weren’t coordinating then that’s on them, not Brad. Destroy the documents ASAP sounds like they already know something, but I’m not saying he didn’t do it. Hearing hasn’t even happened yet and everyone’s acting like it’s already a verdict.
