BOYLE Sports stays on West Ham shirts after Sullivan exit

BOYLE Sports will continue as West Ham’s front-of-shirt sponsor for the Championship season, delivering a major boost after relegation and in the aftermath of co-owner David Sullivan quitting amid serious sexual misconduct allegations and safeguarding restrict
West Ham are heading into the Championship with one less financial worry. BOYLE Sports will remain on the club’s front of shirt for the forthcoming season, continuing a sponsorship that had been in place last term.
The timing of the decision carries extra weight after West Ham were relegated from the Premier League and after a cluster of damaging allegations of sexual misconduct was published against co-owner David Sullivan. who has since resigned. The bookmaker is stepping in to stand by the club even as Sullivan’s name continues to sit at the centre of a safeguarding fallout.
BOYLE Sports had been on West Ham’s shirts last season in a multi-year deal worth millions. While the club would have faced new Premier League rules had they stayed in the top flight, the switch to the Championship keeps the sponsorship alive for the campaign ahead.
Last month, Daily Mail Sport revealed how bosses at BOYLE Sports were not made aware of the safeguarding ban Sullivan was subjected to. They were described as being extremely concerned at accusations the 77-year-old denies, with allegations that he preyed on young women for sex.
Sullivan has been forbidden from having contact with the club’s women’s and academy teams since 2023 due to safeguarding concerns following an FA investigation. The club has now moved into a new phase after Sullivan’s resignation and a reshaped ownership picture.
Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky became the largest shareholder at the London Stadium after increasing his stake to 43 per cent. Sullivan may also be forced to sell his share by the Independent Football Regulator, which is monitoring the situation.
Ahead of an expected announcement later today, BOYLE Sports CEO Vlad Kaltenieks said the partnership would continue. ‘West Ham United is one of the most recognisable clubs in English football. with a proud history and a passionate fanbase. ’ he said. ‘We were proud to begin our partnership last season. but this is only the start and we look forward to an exciting season ahead.’.
Interim Chief Executive Officer Karim Virani welcomed the decision. ‘We’re delighted to have BOYLE Sports continue as our front of shirt partner.’
Virani added: ‘As we enter an exciting new era for the club and prepare for a pivotal season. it matters that our commercial partners share the same passion and drive that we have for our loyal fans. BOYLE Sports has approached the partnership in that spirit, and we look forward to continuing to work with them.’.
The sequence of events leaves West Ham balancing two realities at once: the immediate need to steady revenues and momentum after relegation. and the wider pressure still surrounding Sullivan’s exit. the safeguarding ban since 2023. and the regulator scrutiny now focused on what comes next for ownership at the London Stadium.

So they just… keep the same logo anyway? Wild.
I didn’t realize they were staying on the shirts in the Championship. Makes it sound like they can separate the sponsor from the whole Sullivan thing, but honestly it feels messy.
Wait so BOYLE Sports wasn’t even told about the safeguarding ban? Like how does that work, did they just not do background checks or whatever. And now they’re acting like they’re “standing by the club” like that doesn’t look bad.
This is why I don’t trust any of these club deals. If Sullivan was allegedly doing all that, why is his name still being mentioned everywhere while the bookmaker cash keeps rolling. Also “Championship rules”?? Like I thought relegation was the only thing that mattered, but now it’s sponsorship rules too. The Kretinsky guy sounds like he just swooped in to save them financially, but I guess they couldn’t find another sponsor that fast.
