Big Tigger’s arrest landed like a shockwave—then the details started to surface, tied to what his wife said happened at their home in Sandy Springs.

On June 23. 2026. authorities arrested the radio host on battery and cruelty to children charges. and later he was released after posting a $10. 000 bond following his Saturday arrest. The case. according to arrest documents. appears to stem from an altercation between Big Tigger and his wife. Alicia Brown. that grew out of a dispute in May at their home.

Brown told investigators that the argument began over text messages Big Tigger allegedly exchanged with a female co-worker over several weeks. During the confrontation, she said tensions escalated as Big Tigger allegedly began yelling and started recording Brown with his cellphone. Brown claimed she tried to take the phone back. which led to what the affidavit describes as a struggle where Big Tigger allegedly tackled her while trying to regain possession of the device.

Brown reported suffering a minor bruise to her lip during the encounter. She also told police that the argument didn’t stop when the confrontation ended—she said she later went downstairs to the couple’s basement workspace. where the dispute continued. The affidavit states she unplugged a computer during that part of the disagreement. explaining that she had helped pay for the equipment.

The affidavit then alleges that Big Tigger approached Brown from behind and grabbed her arms to stop her. and that Brown repeatedly told him to let go. Police documents allege he then shoved her, causing her to stumble into an office door. Brown told investigators she suffered a significant cut above her left eye.

Investigators say the incident was captured on the home’s Ring security system. Records state Brown sought treatment at an urgent care facility before being transported to Grady Memorial Hospital because of the severity of her injury.

The documents also describe Brown as initially reluctant to cooperate with investigators. She allegedly told officers she feared what Big Tigger might do and worried that people would not believe her because of his celebrity status.

The cruelty to children charge comes from allegations that the couple’s 13-year-old son was inside the home during the incident and heard the confrontation unfold.

The timing has added to the turbulence around Big Tigger. who recently addressed what he described as growing speculation and discussion about his personal life on social media and during his radio program. As of now, he has not publicly responded to the specific allegations laid out in the arrest affidavit.

  1. Big Tigger really? I grew up on him and this is just sad. If he was recording her that’s messed up, but I feel like the article left out the rest of what happened too.

  2. So he got arrested for battery and cruelty to kids but it was about her trying to take his phone back? That seems like a phone fight turned into everything else. Also $10k bond sounds low for all that, or maybe I’m misunderstanding how bonds work.

  3. I don’t trust these stories anymore. They always say “minor bruise” like that makes it not serious, but then it’s cruelty to children too?? And the computer unplugged thing like… why was he even there if she paid for it? Half of this just feels like details they found after the fact. I’m not saying she’s lying, I’m saying something about this feels off, like we’re missing the real beginning.
