On Father’s Day, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham put Brooklyn Beckham into the frame—smiling in family photos—as the rift between the 27-year-old and his parents remains part of the public conversation.
Victoria Beckham shared a message to her husband. David Beckham. on June 21 and paired it with a throwback-style post featuring the couple and their children: Brooklyn Beckham. now 27; Romeo Beckham. 23; Cruz Beckham. 21; and Harper Beckham. 14. In the caption, she wrote, “David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day,” along with the photographs.
David Beckham posted his own Father’s Day carousel on Instagram. The sequence opened with a black-and-white photo of Brooklyn holding Harper, both smiling. Other images included individual shots with each of his children, including Brooklyn.
“Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham For giving me our beautiful family Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads around the world ,” Beckham wrote.
For years, rumors have circulated about tension between Brooklyn and his parents. In January. Brooklyn Beckham broke his silence on Instagram. writing that he did “not want to reconcile with my family.” He added. “I’m not being controlled. I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. ” while pointing to speculation that his estrangement might be connected to his wife. Nicola Peltz Beckham. Brooklyn wrote, “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”.
At the time of publication, Brooklyn Beckham did not respond or interact with his parents’ Father’s Day messages.
The same holiday spotlight extended beyond the Beckham family. Supermodel Gisele Bündchen shared a Father’s Day Instagram post on Sunday. June 21 that praised her husband. Joaquim Valente. and her own father. Valdir Bündchen. In the tribute. she thanked Valente for “leading by example” and for the values he embodies. including love. humility. integrity. discipline. kindness and consistency. She wrote that he is “an incredible role model. ” and added. “We are all so grateful for you. and we love you so much.” The post also included a message to her father: “And dad. thank you for your unconditional love. wisdom. and support through every stage of my life.”.
Missing from Bündchen’s post was ex Tom Brady, who was previously married to her for 13 years and with whom she shares two children, Benjamin and Vivian.
